Mizan Anti-Cheat and Ban Registry

Mizan reads the ban lists game communities publish and keeps one record for every Steam account. Look a player up, or check every player who joins your server.

What Mizan Checks

Every Steam account has one record. Mizan adds to it from two places.

On Justified's servers

  • Cheats while you play: cheat software, aim manipulation and a wallhack
  • VPNs, proxies and Tor, refused as you connect
  • Bought or resold Steam accounts
  • Family Sharing, matched to whoever owns the copy of the game

From other communities

  • Bans on the lists game communities publish, in Garry's Mod, Rust, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike and more
  • Chronon Labs' cheater flags and the Community Ban List
  • Alt accounts other communities have linked to a banned player

Check Every Player Who Joins

Your server asks Mizan about each player as they connect. It gets back their bans from every list, the cheater mark and their linked accounts, before they spawn in.

  1. Register your community on justified.gg and list your servers.
  2. Justified staff approve it, and you make a key.
  3. Your server sends each joining player's SteamID and reads their record.
